The Kings who had the NBA’s worst record in the 2008-09 season ended up getting the fourth overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft. That means there chances of getting a Blake Griffin Ricky Rubio or Hasheem Thabeet are as likely as them winning an NBA Championship while they’re in Sacramento. Now the Kings had their chances of becoming a great franchise earlier in this decade with stars such as Chris Webber Mike Bibby Vlade Divac Peja and Doug Christie. However the closest the Kings got to a championship was a game seven loss to the Lakers at home in 2002.
