tmpl –> The governor on Monday announced the new California Green Corps a statewide effort to train young adults between 16 and 24 years old to work in the state’s fledgling green-tech industry. “It’s the kind of program President bama envisioned when he put together the economic stimulus package. It’s all about jobs jobs jobs” Schwarzenegger said after touring a solar-installation certificate program at a Sacramento community college. The program will be administered by Schwarzenegger’s volunteerism czar Karen Baker and will receive about $20 million in initial funding. Half the money will come from the U. Department of Labor as part of the federal stimulus package while the other half is expected to be raised from the private sector.
Authorities search for missing Northern Calif teen

Sutter County Sheriff’s deputies have been searching for the three boys from northeast Sacramento County since they disappeared March 4 after going on a fishing and camping trip. Their SUV was found in the river the next day. Friends and relatives have identified the two other missing teens as 17-year-old Aleksandr Kaplinsky and 16-year-old Bohdan Lytvynyuk (BH-dan lie-TIN-ska).
